(Auburn, Alabama) Tonya Prewett made a promise to God. She had been very sick with COVID-19 during the pandemic and promised God that she would do whatever He wanted if only He'd let her live.
Tonya's sincere prayers have been answered exponentially.

Married to Chad Prewett, assistant basketball coach at Auburn University, Tonya's heart was on being a wife and a mom to her three daughters.
When her daughters grew up and left home, Tonya had a moment of reckoning.
"Who am I now? You know, my identity has always been mom. This is a season in my life when I need to commit to prayer," Tonya shared.
God led Tonya to her new mission.
As she began to mentor a group of young women on campus, she kept hearing stories of heartache, depression, and suicidal thoughts.
"I was leading a college girls' small group. I could look at their social media and so, hearing these stories was breaking my heart."
The bible study grew and in the fall of 2023, thousands of college students gathered at Auburn University with a singular focus--to lift up the name of Jesus. The UNITE mission was born.
Hundreds of young people are getting saved and baptized at each event.
“After Auburn, we went to Florida State, from Florida State, we went to the University of Alabama, then the University of Georgia and the University of Tennessee in Knoxville."
UNITE has even more in store for college students across the nation. To get a current schedule click here.
All of this has brought Tonya even closer to God.
“Find time to abide in His presence. That’s when you’ll obey and walk out and see God do extraordinary things.”
